Jason Bateman Reveals What He Told 14-Year-Old Daughter In Sex Chat

Jason Bateman recently gave his 14-year-old daughter, Maple, a crash course in the birds and the bees.
“I just talked to Maple about sex, actually, about a year ago,” Bateman, 57, said on the Thursday, February 26, episode of. Jimmy Kimmel Live!he said his youngest child with a wife Amanda Anka. “I wanted to make sure he got it [a full education]. He goes to a traditional school.”
Although Bateman “didn’t want to tell him that [he] it wasn’t necessary,” he asked if she had any questions on the subject of sex.
“I think, maybe, he realized that this was a place I didn’t like, so he was playing dumb,” Ozark alum recalled. “He’s like, ‘I’m hopeless about a lot of things. It blows my mind now that I think about it.’
Bateman later “went [Maple] by stairs.”
“[I] he kept waiting for me to decide, like, ‘I got this part,’ and he didn’t get the big part,” she said on Thursday’s radio show. You don’t want to say the word ‘ejaculate’ to your daughter, do you? That’s not a good word.”
Instead, Bateman said, “When a man’s penis is inside a woman’s penis, it’s more attractive there. [and] there is a lot of love. To avoid that word, I [used the phrase]’The penis just cries,’ and it’s like the penis just screams, ‘I love you.’
Bateman also explained that the obvious scream is a “woman’s scream,” which is how two people create a baby.
Bateman became a father in 2006 when he and Anka, 57, welcomed daughter Francesca, 19, in 2006. Maple followed in 2012.
“20 years was a long time, and when I turned 30, I stopped drinking [and] I married my girlfriend, who is still my wife, and I got her Arrested Development,” said Bateman Esquire December 2025 to become a father. “Everything was fine at 12 [or] 24 months. There was always a plan. The three things I always said I wanted to do, when I was a child … was to be a father, a husband and direct a film. “
The “SmartLess” podcast producer decided to quit drinking when he found his fame Arrested Development role as a way to be a better partner for Anka.
“I’ve been getting a lot of that stuff in my system, knowing that at 30 it’s about time you get your *** together and start making a plan,” he told the outlet. “Someone told me that your lungs stop producing new cells after 30 years, so I stopped smoking too.
The following month, Bateman admitted that being rational also eased the “disagreement” with Anka.
“Amanda and I had a few conversations about that point [partying] the spigot will be completely off,” he said The Hollywood Reporter in January. “You can say, ‘This drip, drip, drip is annoyingly unexpected, Jason.'”
