The sixth edition of the World Baseball Classic is headed to the quarterfinals. The United States is looking to bounce back from a horrendous loss as the team takes on Canada in a hotly contested last-eight game on Friday.
Team USA was left stunned after losing 8-6 to Italy on Tuesday and had to rely on Italy beating Mexico to advance to this stage. Aaron Judge and company must now take on the dust as they face their neighbors at Daikin Park in Houston for a place in the semi-finals.
Ahead of that match, the quarterfinals begin on Friday with an exciting match between South Korea and the unbeaten Dominican Republic, while Europe’s last remaining team, Italy, makes its second appearance in the tournament’s quarterfinals against Puerto Rico.
Rounding out the quarterfinals on Saturday is the first WBC meeting between defending champions Japan and Venezuela, who are looking to bounce back from Thursday’s Pool D loss to Latin rivals the Dominican Republic.

Fox Sports is set to air every game of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Coverage will take over Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2, with free streaming service Tubi also showing six games.
Every Baseball Classic game, including those that stream on Tubi, will be available to stream on the Fox One App.
Fox’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service launched last year. Fox One costs $20 a month or $200 a year and gives you access to Fox’s complete TV portfolio, including sports-related channels like Fox Sports, B1G, FS1, FS2 and local Fox channels.

Watch the 2026 World Baseball Classic in the UK
Baseball fans in the UK can watch some games in the tournament live on TNT Sports, which has the rights to broadcast live in the UK.
