“I’ve put it off long enough,” he said of putting his life first. “I’ve been able to achieve all my goals in my career. But personally, in my daily life, there are many things I haven’t accomplished that I’d like to do. And one of them is to be at a healthy weight.”
Iglesias explained that he had no problems managing extra weight when he was younger and enjoyed eating out regularly. However, her body type has taken a toll on her as she has aged.
“It just got to the point where it was uncomfortable. I started panicking. I would wake up unable to breathe properly, I don’t feel well,” he recalled. “I got up and went outside, took off my shirt and just stood there and let the cold wind hit me.”
Iglesias added that his health and well-being is currently his priority.
“So, if I lose 100 or whatever amount of weight, yeah, I might not be fluffy, but man, I’ll be fine,” he shared, referring to his comedic nickname. “And I think that my fans and people would prefer to see me alive and able to work and do what I do rather than being an official.”
