Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi Reveals Stage 1 Cervical Cancer Diagnosis, Urges Fans to “Make Sure”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is opening up about a deep personal life battle — and she’s using her platform to encourage others not to skip routine screenings.
I The Jersey Shore The star revealed in a TikTok newsletter on Friday (February 20) that she was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer after receiving the results of a recent cone biopsy.
“Stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma came back,” he said with a deep breath. “Obviously it’s not the news I expected, but it’s also not the worst news because they caught on quickly. Thank God!
Polizzi, 38, explained that she has been dealing with abnormal Pap smear results for years, recommending early detection by finding the cancer at a curable stage.
“I’m 38 years old and I’ve been struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now, look at me,” she said. “Instead of putting it off because I didn’t want to go, because I was injured and scared, I just went and did it. And it was there, the cancer is there. But it’s stage 1 and it’s curable.”
He then urged fans to stay busy by checking their health.
“So finish your time, idiots! he continued. “Once you get into stage 2, you’ll have to do chemo… nobody wants to do that! It’s scary. So make your appointments.”
According to Polizzi, next he will meet with an oncologist and undergo a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread.
“After that, I will have surgery,” he said, noting his doctor said the rest would be chemotherapy and radiation. “Obviously, I think the smart choice here is a hysterectomy. I’ll still keep my eggs, which is a good sign. But yes, I have to remove the cervix and uterus. It all depends on the PET scan.”
Despite the diagnosis, he remained optimistic about his outlook.
“So 2026 is not what I wanted,” he said. “But then again, it could be worse.”
Polizzi reiterated how common cervical cancer is and encouraged others experiencing similar health scares to seek support.
“Many women face it silently with no one to talk to and are afraid to be alone. That’s me until I decided to upload a video about what happened to me,” said the mother of three children. “I like that we have a forum here to discuss it with each other,” continued Polizzi. “Thank you for all the love. Everything will be fine. I will deal with what I did.”
“I have to keep attacking this and everything will be fine,” he concluded.
The reality star — author of The Beach Thing – he previously shared on TikTok on January 23 that he needed a colposcopy and a biopsy after receiving doctors about the cells.
“The results come back. The doctor calls me and he’s like, ‘It doesn’t look good.’ He found cancerous cells on my cervix,” he said at the time, adding that he was waiting for further biopsy results.
He also thought about delaying appointments out of fear, something he now hopes others won’t repeat.
“The reason why my doctor sat on my ass all the time was because I was waiting. I waited my hardest time because I knew I might not get good results, but I also didn’t want to feel the pain. I didn’t want to deal with the stress of dealing with all this,” he explained.
“Making this video is to spread the word to make sure you get your pap smear. And if your doctor tells you to do it again, do it,” he urged. “Make sure you’re healthy and prevent all the bad things that can happen, like cervical cancer.”
