Ex Syracuse QB Rex Culpepper Cause of Death Revealed

New information has come to light about the death of Rex Culpepperformer Syracuse University linebacker and son of A survivor the players Brad again Monica Culpepper.
Rex died from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident on Saturday, March 14, according to a report The Tampa Bay Times. The accident reportedly happened in Georgia, but Rex, who was 28, was one of the best players in Florida during his high school days.
Rex’s fiancee, Savannahconfirmed the death of the former athlete on Monday, March 16, in a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.
“No one expects to meet the love of their life and lose it only 6 years after meeting,” he wrote. “Rex didn’t always believe in dating but he finally told me that he didn’t know what it was like to be in a relationship until we felt like extensions of each other.”
He continued, “And one thing for me is that we lived every day as if it were our last. We did every little thing we set our minds to, between learning new skills and hobbies, and visiting new places, there was never a free moment with us and not a moment was spent apart. I don’t regret a single day in our 6 years.”
Rex was well known in Syracuse for his comeback after being diagnosed with testicular cancer during his freshman year. He underwent chemotherapy and suited up for the Orange’s spring game while undergoing treatment. Although he didn’t expect to play in the game, he got the ball in the last minute of the game and led his team to the ground.
“It just feels surreal,” Rex said after the game, in Syracuse.com. “It was amazing. I’ll never forget that.”
He was declared cancer-free that June and was able to play his second season.
The Syracuse football program acknowledged Rex’s death in a statement sent to The X on Monday.
“Our Orange family mourns the loss of Rex Culpepper, who passed away this weekend at the age of 28,” the statement read. “Rex lived his life with endless passion, beating cancer at age 20 while playing for the Orange. Appearing in 30 games, Rex played football as aggressively as he lived life. Our hearts go out to the Culpepper family and all who loved him.”
Rex’s parents, Brad and Monica, played two seasons A survivor each is also the only couple in the show’s history to each be named on the Saturday of their season. His brother, The judgeplayed college football at Penn State and Toledo, along with his sister, Fameplayed basketball at NYU.
