Jase Robertson thinks “rednecks” are the only group of people left who can’t get mad.

Robertson explained on the podcast “Disrespect and the Robertson Family” that he “accidentally asked” his brother, Willie Robertson, if there were any “Eskimos” at a party he was attending in Alaska, and Willie told him, “‘That’s an offensive word for them.’ I was like, ‘Well, I didn’t get the memo on that.’ They are called natives.”

Zach Dasher’s relative asked Jase if he would be upset if someone called him a “redneck,” to which he replied, “No. We’re the only innocent people left on earth — the rednecks — ’cause they’re making fun of us and I don’t care.”

Jase’s brother, Al Robertson, came in, saying, “Well, we’re kidding ourselves. I always say that.”

Jase added that he believes that “if you’re right with the Lord, I think you’re innocent. Because he basically said, ‘You’re going to get pissed off or people are going to try to piss you off just by following me.’

Al reminded them that his father, Phil Robertson, wrote a book about “uncancellation,” referring to his book “Uncanceled.”

The theme of the book, he remembered, is, “You can’t be erased because, once your sins are erased on the cross … then who cares who tries to erase you after that? It doesn’t make a difference. What I thought was strong – that’s a strong point.”

Phil reflected on the 2022 cancellation culture while talking about his book and his suspension of “Duck Dynasty” in 2013 after he made comments about gay people in a GQ interview.

“Those who attacked me, I didn’t catch them,” Phil, who died last year, told Fox News Digital at the time. “They asked me a question about a certain sin, homosexual behavior. And they asked if I believed it was a sin. I thought, that’s a strange question to ask someone, but I just quoted a Bible verse … I quoted what God said about that sin and nine other sins, but it was on the list of sins … Like we did ‘The Kingdom of Ducks throws me up without looking up,’ down.”

He continued, “They put me on what they call indefinite leave. I said, ‘I think I might be fired, right?’ Hiatus says you are no longer part of the program. After nine days, they reinstated me, but we had all kinds of new sponsors. They made fun of what I said. All I could do was quote a Bible verse. And because of that, they tried to cancel me. But it didn’t cancel me at all. I still love them. I don’t hate anyone.”
