Why Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn Choose Colorado Over LA

A famous actor Kurt Russell shares why he and his longtime partner Goldie Hawn I’d rather live in Colorado than Los Angeles.
“What I enjoy the most is that [Hawn] it really likes it in Colorado,” Russell, 75, said Fox News Digital in an interview published on Sunday, March 22.Wyatt [Russell] again [his wife] Meredith [Hagner] and their two boys, live in Colorado now. So we like to spend as much time as possible.”

Russell and Hawn, 80 – who have been together since 1983 when they reconnected on set Swing Shift – owns many properties throughout the United States. Currently, the two split their time between their homes in Los Angeles, Palm Desert, California, Old Snowmass, Colorado and New York.
(Hawn shares a daughter Kate Hudson and a son Oliver Hudson and ex-husband Bill Hudsonwhile Russel shares a son Boston Russell and his ex-wife Season Hubley. Hawn and Russell later completed their blended family when they adopted Wyatt in 1986.)

He continued at the time, “Goldie and I share a love of log cabins. I never took that out of my schedule, starting with Maine.”
Now that Russell is commuting between his locations in Los Angeles and Colorado – just like his character on his new TV show. Madison – he said Men’s Health in a recent interview that he finds a certain level of peace in the mountains of Colorado.
“I moved to Colorado when I was 26 years old,” the actor told the publication on March 14. “At some point, you find yourself wondering if you’re going to live the life you want to live, or if you’re going to talk about it. And I decided to move and live the life I wanted to live.”
Season 1 of Taylor Sheridan‘s hit series Madison concluded on Saturday, March 21. The show follows the Clyburn family after they leave New York City and “move to the Madison River valley in southwestern Montana to recover emotionally after a family tragedy.”
