David, Victoria’s Birthday Post in Brooklyn

If you need a reminder, Brooklyn’s statement came after a year of speculation that all was not well between him and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and his parents and siblings, when Brooklyn jumped to Nicola’s defense as he said he had no intention of reconciling with his family.
You can read the full recap of the entire feud here, but Brooklyn basically said she’s been “controlled” by her parents for “a large part” of her life, which left her with “a lot of anxiety.” He added that David and Victoria value promotion and social approval above all else, writing: “Brand Beckham comes first. The ‘love’ of the family is determined by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show off and show off the family photo opp, even if that means losing our work commitments.”
In addition, Brooklyn said that her entire family “has been disrespectful” to Nicola, and has been trying to destroy their relationship. Victoria was also chosen as Brooklyn said she “hijacked” her first dance with Nicola at their wedding in a very “inappropriate” way. He said: “I have never felt so uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Needless to say, Brooklyn’s comment effectively broke the internet, and the Beckham family found themselves in the middle of a whole bunch of talk weeks after posting it. But through it all, David and Victoria have kept a dignified peace. A source later told People that the couple was left “shocked” by the situation and feared losing Brooklyn forever. The insider added: “They’re terrified of losing their son and would take him back in a minute. They’re a close family too. In a different way than Nicola’s family. They love Brooklyn and are in awe of everything.”
They concluded: “David and Victoria believe that time will heal this matter.” They know in the long run that Brooklyn will return. There is nothing they can do until then,” they concluded, noting that Brooklyn and Nicola only spoke to her parents “through mediators.”
Before Brooklyn’s statement, it was widely reported that Brooklyn sent an official letter to her parents last summer “requesting that any communication go through lawyers, as an attempt to try to make amends privately rather than publicly,” and they still wrote about her on Instagram after this, which led her to block her family from social media.
And despite all this, David and Victoria took to their Instagram accounts today to wish Brooklyn a happy 27th birthday. David shared a sweet photo of himself kicking back with Victoria and Brooklyn at the pool when he was younger. He wrote: “27 today 🥺 Happy Birthday Bust 🤍 We love you x” He followed up with another photo of himself and Brooklyn when he was young, and wrote: “Happy Birthday Bust 🩷 Love you x”
On Victoria’s Instagram page, she shared the same photo of herself splashing in the pool and wrote: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much ❤️” Underneath a black and white photo of her and Brooklyn as a child, Victoria added: “Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
The post comes after Brooklyn sparked public criticism for her 14-year-old sister Harper’s Valentine’s Day post, in which she shared photos honoring all three of her brothers, whom she called “the biggest brothers in the world.”
Perhaps surprisingly, Cruz hasn’t posted about Brooklyn’s birthday today, but Romeo shared a throwback photo of himself and Brooklyn on his story without a message.
