David Protein Bars are 20% off in the Big Spring sale

We got the skinny on this deceptively delicious deal.

David Protein Bars — the high-protein, low-calorie bars that recently came under legal scrutiny — are back in the spotlight during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, now marked down up to 20%.

In the lawsuit, this product is accused of misrepresenting calories and fat content. But, as Peter Rahal, the founder of David Protein, explained in news outlets and on social media, some people don’t understand how calories are measured.

David Protein Bars contain an ingredient known as Esterified Propoxylated Glycerol (EPG), a plant-based fat substitute that delivers the texture and mouthfeel of fat without being completely digested by the body. Calories stay low while the bar still tastes delicious.

Each bar provides 28 grams of protein for about 150 calories, which explains why consumers keep clicking “add to cart.”

The flavors read like a bakery case: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Fudge Brownie, Blueberry Muffin. Sweet enough to feel like a reward, clean enough to eat after your workout.

Beyond the titles, many shoppers (more than 20,000 this past month on Amazon alone) are still adding bars to their cart.

“The bar has a good chew with a little tap to give it texture,” wrote one happy customer, while another said the taste was “good.”

A discount makes a protein bar even more delicious. If you haven’t tried it yet, this is your chance to see what all the hype is about.
