Ronda Rousey is a legend in combat sports, helping usher in a new era in mixed martial arts in the UFC and women’s wrestling in the WWE.

Rousey’s absence from pro wrestling was much shorter than her decision to return to the MMA cage. She left WWE in October 2023 following a feud with Shayna Baszler. It was two weeks after he left the company that he appeared in a private scene.

“The Baddest Woman on the Planet” made surprise appearances in Lucha VaVoom and Pro Wrestling Revolve before appearing in Ring of Honor. He told Fox News Digital that he wanted to work with his friend, Marina Shafir.

“When I was out, I still liked working with Marina because Marina was still working and we were trying to figure out, ‘Oh, while you’re in town, maybe we can find something.’ And I had a short, narrow window for some reason to be able to do it. We were trying to get pregnant again,” she said. “We were going to start IVF at the beginning of the year.

“We couldn’t really find anything that worked. So, we reached out to Pro Wrestling Revolver and we were like let’s do a charity show to raise money for the Lahaina fire survivors. So, that’s how it all came about. There was also a Lucha VaVoom show that we were able to crash right away.”

Rousey starred in Pro Wrestling Revolver and then went back into the shadows – that is until this past March.

She was in the middle of training camp for her MMA comeback match against Gina Carano when she arrived at the Crypto.com Arena to face “Timeless” Toni Storm following her match with Shafir at All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Revolution each March.

RONDA ROUSEY MAKES A STUNNING APPEARANCE AT AEW REVOLUTION

Although he received questions about doing the show at the time, he said there was no way he would do it because he had to focus on the Carano fight.

“So, we got to do the Revolver show and that was amazing and then this last run with AEW,” Rousey said. “I didn’t do anything at all because I was in training camp and all these people are like, ‘Oh, is Ronda going to make the play?’ I would say, I’m in training camp. You guys are crazy. I won’t be doing any sports during training camp. … I love Toni Storm, I love Marina and it was great to be at Marina’s first professional match. I didn’t want to take away from their time but maybe put a little bit into it and push a little bit into my next fight.”

Now, Rousey’s appearance with AEW coincided with Storm’s attack during AEW’s storyline on the next episode of “Dynamite” following Revolution.

Fox News Digital asked Rousey if she was the one who attacked Storm.

“Oh, I wasn’t ready for that question … next question, next question,” he jokingly cleared his throat.

However, Rousey made it clear that being involved in professional wrestling full-time or part-time would be too much of a career for what she wants to do moving forward with her life.

“I think, we’re trying to have another baby right now and all this stuff,” Rousey said. “That life, being on the road and fighting, does not encourage having many children at all.

“We were able to make it work for a while. It’s not possible anymore. I’m open to doing other things if it works and it’s local. We’re looking at moving to Hawaii and it would be great to open a small school.”

Rousey proved to be one of the most mixed martial artists when she quickly defeated Carano in a dream match earlier this month.

Days later, he added another award to his impressive resume. He has partnered with Castrol to become the oil company’s new ambassador.

“I’m the best at what I do and I wouldn’t want to partner with anyone unless they’re the best at what they do. Fortunately, Castrol is,” Rousey said, adding that filming the commercial for the company was “really fun” and a high-quality experience.
