Claressa Shields turns 31 today (March 17), and reminds fans that “age is just a number.” While riding around with Papoosethe boxing champion explained what reaching that age means to him. Meanwhile, Pap sent a short and sweet birthday message to his “queen” during their night out.

Claressa Shields is celebrating her 31st birthday
Shields was all smiles as she talked about her 30s on her birthday! He took to his Instagram stories shortly after midnight on March 17 to share his thoughts on his 31st birthday. In her videos, the sister was riding a passenger princess and dripping diamonds while her husband was driving. He started by saying it was a real “holiday” and laughed about being 31 years old.
“…Let me go ahead and spill my beans. Turning 31 doesn’t hurt. In my younger days, when I was 17….I always felt that when you turn 31 it’s going to be painful. You’re going to be old…I’m saying this to say that age is not a thing but a number, because if you tell yourself you’re old, you’ll feel healthy and young. Be healthy, drink your water, be nice and kind to people, find a relationship good with God, you’ll feel and you’ll look young And you’ll be happy and don’t let people pressure you,” said Claressa Shields.
Despite facing trials and tribulations, Claressa loves that her journey includes smiling at the new wave of haters who benefit every year. “Don’t let anyone take your smile away. No matter who it is,” he said. “At the end of the day, I got 31 reasons to be that girl.”
Shields also said that he has no reason to be sad because he has overcome his health conditions and has everything he wants in life. “And whatever I want to get, I’ll get it,” said the boxer. Additionally, he said he can’t wait to celebrate for a month. “We’re going up, FRFR” Claressa said.
Papoose Wishes His Queen a Happy Birthday
As mentioned, Pap also posted late at night in celebration of Claressa Shields. He posted a video of them riding jamming to Stevie Wonder’s version of “Happy Birthday”. He was singing happily, and Papoose was smiling, matching his energy. In white writing, he wrote, “Happy birthday special day my Queen. Love never dies,” He added three red heart emojis.

Claressa Earlier Revealed The Joint Birthday Plans
Less than two weeks ago, Papoose celebrated her 48th birthday and Claressa Shields came out with some social media love. On Instagram, she said she will be celebrating him all month, including their joint birthday party. Details surrounding their group such as location and theme are unclear. However, Claressa said it will happen on March 28.
