Charli XCX wants to ‘quit music’ to find a new job

Charli XCX wants to make a complete career “360.”

The “Brat” hitmaker revealed that she hopes to “quit music” to pursue other areas of acting during her appearance on Feb. 22 of Quen Blackwell’s YouTube series “Feeding Starving Celebrities”.

“Do you want to do more?” Blackwell asked the pop star, and Charli replied, “Yeah, are you kidding? I want to quit music, babe, and act.”

Blackwell then revealed the obvious success of the star on his latest album, “Brat” – which won the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2025.

“What else needs to be done?” Charli replied.

Regarding her dream project, the singer said she would like to make a film about “the last girl”, adding that she made a TikTok about the possible project.

“I put a name on it,” Blackwell told the May 2025 TikTok clip. “We’re all just running around really hot, but we’re getting killed in the craziest ways.”

On TikTok, Charli also named Rachel Sennott, Alex Consani, Gabbriette, Romy Mars and herself as cast members of the fictional film.

The “365” singer recently starred as herself in her own memoir-style film, “The Moment,” which was released in January.

Among the actors were Kylie Jenner, Kate Berlant, Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette and Jamie Demetriou.

The film follows a fictionalized version of the singer as he struggles with fame and the high demands of the music industry while preparing for a stage tour.

In October 2025, the singer explained that the idea was born out of the pressure Charli faced with his label to record his album “Brat” and the tour that followed.

“It’s not a tour documentary or a concert film by any means, but the seed of the idea was born out of this idea of being forced to make one,” Charli told Vanity Fair at the time.

“It’s a myth, but it’s the most realistic representation of the music industry I’ve ever seen,” he continued.
