Chappell Roan Responds to Jorginho’s Claims About His Child

Chappell Roan He is making noise about his alleged relationship with the soccer star Jorginho11 year old daughter in Brazil.
“I’m just going to tell half of the story that happened today about the mother and child, who were involved with a security guard who is not my security guard,” said Roan, 28, in an Instagram Stories video posted on Sunday, March 22. “I didn’t even see a woman and a child, like, no one came to me. No one was bothering me. I was just sitting at breakfast as they were staying at my hotel.”
According to the Grammy winner, he did not ask the security officer to “go up and talk” to the family on his behalf.
“I didn’t, [and] they did not come up to me. They weren’t doing anything,” emphasized Roan about Jorginho’s wife and his child. “It’s unfair that the security forces just think that someone doesn’t have good intentions when they have no reason to believe because no action is taken, like, that’s not what I’m holding behind.”
Roan went on to say that he has no problem with any of his fans.
“I don’t hate people who are fans of my music. I don’t hate kids, like that’s crazy,” he added on Sunday. “I’m sorry to that mother and child that someone thought they were going to do something and if you’re not comfortable, that really makes me sad.
Jorginho, 34, made waves early Saturday when he said that Roan’s security team would not allow his daughter to meet the pop star. (Jorginho, real name Jorge Luiz Frello Filho, shares son Jax with wife Cat Cavelli and is the father of her daughter, Ada, from a previous relationship.)

My wife is in São Paulo at Lollapalooza Brasil,” Jorginho said in a statement shared on social media on Saturday. “This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly happy, she even made a gesture because she was happy to see a singer she adored or used to admire.”
Per Jorginho, Cavelli, 34, and their 11-year-old child were staying at the same hotel as Roan before his Lollapalooza set.
“During breakfast, the artist passed by their table. My daughter, like any child, saw it, was happy, and wanted to make sure it was really him,” Jorginho said in his statement. “The worst thing is that he didn’t even come close to her, he just passed by the singer’s table, he checked that it was her, he smiled, he went back to live with his mother, he didn’t say anything, he didn’t ask anything.”
The security guard allegedly told Cavelli and his daughter not to “disrespect or harass other people.”
“In fact, I don’t know when to pass the table and see if there is anyone who can be considered abuse,” concluded Jorginho. “I have lived with football, exposure to the public, and famous people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not there. It was just a child who loves someone. It is sad to see this kind of treatment from those who should understand the importance of the fans. In the end, they are the ones who created all this. I really have to face this time. not a child.”
