Maya Hawke she is in the honeymoon phase of her relationship with her husband Christian Lee Hutson after one month they tied the knot.
Hawke, 27, called married life “so sweet” while attending the world premiere of her new film Wishful Thinking on Thursday, March 12.
“I’m a very lucky, very happy person right now,” Hawke said People at the SXSW Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas. “And yes, [I] I couldn’t be more grateful.”
I Stranger Things alum couldn’t stop talking about her romance with Hutson, 35, at the event.
“I feel lucky to have my best friend and to have someone I can talk to about anything,” said Hawke Page Six Thursday to her husband, who is a singer and songwriter. “It makes something like marriage feel like, ‘Yeah,’ you know, not like, ‘What?’ And I’m very lucky, really, so I’m very happy.”
He added that he was “incredibly happy” following his marriage. “I mean … love is the best,” Hawke said.
Hawke and Hutson surprised fans by exchanging vows on Valentine’s Day, February 14, in New York City.

According to photos of the wedding obtained by multiple outlets, Hawke wore a white dress with a matching cropped jacket. Hutson wore a classic black tuxedo to say, “I do.”
