EJ Johnson Sparks Debate After Beyoncé, Rihanna & More Miss The Mark At Met Gala
Chile, EJ Johnson did not hold back emotions when he posted a video on Instagram reacting to the appearance of this year’s Met Gala. He said this year was full of criminals and only one person was brought! “Every look was worse and worse and worse,” EJ said. He also called the entire event a “graveyard” and said Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian were all “missing” this year.
“The vibes weren’t at the Met Gala, it was at the cemetery […] and what really kicked me was Beyoncé coming in at the end honey like the grim reaper dressed as a skeleton and she was just there to break all the souls and bring everyone down to the underworld,” added EJ.
From there, Johnson said it’s time to show love to the people who fix it, even if it’s not words. He said that old people don’t give what they used to give so it’s time to show love to a new face.
“We have to look at the girls who come and do that or who are we like? or like I have to look at this person because it will be the next wave of the bombshell and the stylish people are not cool. […] good people.” Johnson added. “And don’t bother with names because names are not invented. And we have to let them say no words and worry about other young people.”
EJ Labels Emma Chamberlain as Best Dressed
Although EJ admitted that he felt like this year’s Met Gala wasn’t the same, he said that Emma Chamberlain was the only one. “who came to work.” He said Emma really brought energy and stood out as one who really understood the assignment and theme. “It was just a win and it was a great win because no one else was even trying.”
Emma was one of the first celebrities to take the steps of the Met. She succeeded in the campaign to cover things up and did just that arriving in a vintage Mugler coat that was hand-painted on her body and featured an incredibly shabby train.
