Trump vows to call NBC’s Savannah Guthrie following mother’s disappearance

President Donald Trump vowed Tuesday to personally call NBC’s “Today” host Savannah Guthrie and provide more help following her mother’s kidnapping in Tuscon, Arizona.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, and was reported missing by her family at noon Sunday, according to the County Sheriff’s Department.
Although the officials are not clear about the circumstances of her disappearance, they said they believe that Nancy Guthrie was abducted or abducted, and blood was also found outside the house.
During a Q&A session in the White House Oval Office on Tuesday, Trump said he was considering sending more federal agents to help with the investigation.

“I think it’s bad,” Trump said. “I will call [Savannah Guthrie] later on. I think it’s a very bad thing. … It’s an unusual situation, but we’ll find out.”
Despite the two arguing at an NBC town hall in October 2020, Trump added, “I’ve always gotten along very well with Savannah.”
During a Miami town hall, Savannah Guthrie pressed Trump about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, and his social media posts questioning the death of Osama bin Laden.
At one point, he accused Trump of “sending lies” to his followers, comparing him to “some crazy uncle.”

While i Pima County Sheriff’s Department As the FBI continues to investigate the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, officials on Tuesday confirmed they are “aware” of reports of a possible ransom note.
“We are aware of widespread reports of a possible incident in connection with the Nancy Guthrie investigation,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a statement Tuesday afternoon. “Anything that comes in, goes straight to our detectives contacting the FBI.”

Media outlets TMZ and KOLD 13 News announced Tuesday that they have received unverified ransom notes demanding money for the return of Nancy Guthrie.
Note received by It is reported by TMZ sought millions in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, with an outlet that verifies the address of the “real” Bitcoin.
TMZ said the letter, which was sent to authorities, includes undisclosed details about his disappearance and has a deadline.
