Artist Friend D4vd Gives Grand Jury Testimony In Celeste Rivas Trial

UPDATE — 2/4/26 at 3:28 pm ET: Neo Langston – the artist’s partner D4vd who was arrested in Montana last month for failing to testify to a jury Celeste Rivas lawsuit — was reportedly seen inside a Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday, February 4, according to TMZ.
Neo appeared before a grand jury convened in November to consider evidence in the case.
TMZ tried to get Neo to speak as he left court, but he refused to answer any of their questions. Sources, however, told TMZ that Neo was in front of the grand jury for about 30 to 40 minutes.
It was not clear what he may have told them about Rivas’ death.

A man with a personal connection to the R&B singer D4vd has been arrested after failing to appear in court as a witness in the ongoing case of the mysterious death of a girl.
Neo Langston was arrested on an out-of-state warrant on Thursday, January 22. He was initially booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center in Helena, Montana, and later turned over to the LAPD, according to court records obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle.

On September 23, Celeste’s body was released to her family and more details about her death were released.

Since this letter, they have received over $24,000 in donations.
D4vd was not officially named as a suspect in the case until November 2025.
That same month, the LAPD released a statement attempting to “dispel false information” about the case that was circulating online, including that his body “was not frozen” and “his head was not beheaded.”
“We have evidence that D4vd traveled to the Santa Barbara area sometime in the Spring of 2025. The reason for that trip is still under investigation, and we have not reached any conclusions yet regarding the relevance of the trip to this case,” the statement continued.
The LAPD also explained that the court order to seal the records of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas was “sought only to ensure that Robbery-Homicide detectives obtain important information about her death from the media and the public” and not “undermining the public.”
D4vd has not been arrested in connection with the case.
