Blake Lively Vows To Keep Fighting After Baldoni’s Sexual Assault Claim Is Dismissed

Blake Lively made it clear today: the lady is not one to repent. That seems to be especially true when it comes to taking Justin Baldoni to court for what may have gone down It ends with us and after that.
“Don’t be distracted by a digital soap opera,” the actor announced on Friday.
A day after he saw the sexual harassment claim dropped from his case against him WOW his partner Baldoni and his inner circle, and six weeks before the trial began, Lively said “I will never stop doing my part in fighting to expose the schemes and people who want to hurt, shame, silence and take revenge on the victims.”
“I know it’s a privilege to be able to stand up, I won’t waste it.”
With a nod to Ryan Reynolds and his friend Taylor Swift (IYKYK), Lively’s post ended:
Tagged with a powerful dragon emoji, a rare direct statement from the actor came this evening on social media. Thanking Judge Lewis Liman for his fiery decision on Thursday, Lively took a PR step with a statement, after 24 hours of lawyers on both sides and his agency WME trying to put a public face to lose face.
“The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this lawsuit because of the pervasive RETALIATION I faced, and continue to, privately and professionally ask for a safer workplace for myself and others,” Lively wrote. While the sexual assault claim was dropped due to the state’s facts and Lively’s WOW status as an independent contractor, defamation and retaliation claims, which Another Simple Grace The star of Good Friday called “the heart of my case” will be put before a judge in New York from May 18.
That heartbreak comes from Lively’s allegations that Baldoni, her Wayfarer Studios boss and PR team created and ran an online smear campaign against her in 2024 ahead of Sony’s broadcast release. WOW.
Despite documents and other communications saying otherwise according to Team Blake and his lawyers, Team Baldoni has been denying that they released the bot and digital Hell on Lively. In their POV, the internet rose up against Gossip Girl star organically. What’s not disputed is that A-lister Lively has been grilled on the internet. He says it’s because Baldoni’s side wanted to prevent him from making allegations of misconduct in the public and surrounding areas of the film’s production. WOW.
Today, Lively clearly states “the physical pain from digital violence is real.”

Judge Liman ordered both sides to engage in negotiations, but Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman said in February that efforts to reach a settlement were “unsuccessful.” If there was any doubt that Lively would still be on trial in December 2024, Friday’s post on the actress’ Instagram story put it to rest.
See you in court.
