‘Back to the Future’ star Crispin Glover is suing for battery, emotional distress and fraud

Crispin Glover is being sued by the ex-girlfriend, referred to as Jane Doe, for battery, fraud, wrongful dismissal, malicious prosecution, witnessing with intent to inflict emotional distress, and criminal trespass.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Doe said she was “imprisoned” by the “Back to the Future” actor in 2024 and “used for sex and free labor … under false pretenses.”
“Mr. Glover first enticed and manipulated Jane Doe into abandoning her home and possessions in the UK in order to work with her as his assistant in the entertainment industry,” the suit reads.
Glover allegedly “promised” Doe a place to live and a job if he left the UK and worked as his assistant in LA in 2024.
“But when Ms. Doe took the bait and uprooted herself and moved to Los Angeles, she found herself in a disturbing situation where Mr. Glover wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve her as a living girlfriend/sex slave,” the documents added.
According to the complaint, when Doe “made it clear that he was not going to comply with Mr. Glover’s increasingly strange and inappropriate demands,” Glover, 61, allegedly “unlawfully fired” the woman.
Doe says in court that Glover is accused of hitting him when he tried to re-enter the home to retrieve his belongings and cats.
The woman says the “Alice in Wonderland” star “attacked her, grabbed her by the neck and choked her on the head, leaving a visible cut and scar on her neck.”
Doe also said in the docs that when he tried to enforce his rights, Glover allegedly “made a false police report and a false request for a restraining order.”
“Even after beating her and filing false charges against her, Mr. Glover continued to harass and sexually pursue Jane Doe,” the lawsuit states.
A representative for Glover strongly denied the “baseless” allegations in “the strongest terms.”
“The truth is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an indecent assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called the LAPD, who arrived on the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe,” a representative told TMZ in a statement Wednesday.
“These facts are documented in legal records and the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at the time,” they added.
The spokesman concluded, “Mr. Glover intends to defend himself to the best of his ability and pursue all available relief. He is confident that the judicial process will expose this case as a frivolous scandal.”
Doe is seeking a jury trial to determine special and general damages. He is also asking for his attorney’s fees to be paid.
Page Six reached out to representatives for Glover but did not immediately respond.
