Authorities Seen Searching for Septic Tank at Home of Missing Nancy Guthrie

Investigators were seen removing the manhole cover from the septic tank behind NGuthrie‘s Arizona home more than a week after going missing.

Drone footage shown on Fox News on Sunday, February 8, showed authorities standing in Nancy’s backyard around 11:00 a.m. and using a pole to probe inside the tank. It is not clear what they were looking for or why they decided to investigate at this time.

As Us Weekly previously reported, Nancy, 84 – mother of Today show the anchor Savannah Guthrie – he was last seen on January 31 following a visit with his other daughter, Annie Guthrie. “We received your message and we understand. We are asking you now to return our mother to us so that we can be happy with her,” Savannah said in the video while holding both of her siblings’ hands. “This is the only way we will have peace. This is very important to us and we will pay.”

“Tracking continues in multiple locations. No suspects, persons of interest, or vehicles identified,” reads a post X from the Pima County Sheriff’s Office. “There are no press conferences scheduled. If there are significant developments in the matter, a press conference will be called.”
