The team – apart from Demi, 31, who took a break from the show during the currently airing season 4 – was in production for season 5 until earlier this week. The news appeared on Tuesday, March 17, that Mormon wives production was halted after Taylor and Dakota, 33, were involved in a domestic violence investigation.
None of Taylor’s fellow MomTokkers have spoken publicly about the scandal or the suspension of production, and Taylor has admitted that Good Morning America Wednesday, March 18, that “he doesn’t call” about when the cameras were rolling, but as far as he knows, filming is over. “No one is talking to Taylor right now and they’re all upset,” the insider said. “It’s a nightmare behind the scenes right now.”
Taylor, meanwhile, is in New York City to promote her upcoming season of The Bachelorette season 22.

“His No. 1 priority here is to protect Ever,” Dakota’s representative said in a statement Wednesday. Entertainment Weekly. “He knew it might happen, but he wouldn’t be the one to do it because he always wanted a good relationship with Taylor. It was really hard to achieve that, but he wants to get along well.”
Taylor and Dakota broke up in the fall of 2025, just before Taylor filmed her season The Bachelorette. He reunited with Dakota hours before flying to California for the show but then tried to end their “trauma bond” once and for all.
A second source, meanwhile, told Us this week taylor and dakota are currently out of touch and they put ever together in third person.
Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette premieres on ABC on Sunday, March 22, at 8 pm ET.
