With the latest new gear drops readily available, Fairway Jockey’s February sale has identified a clear front-runner for the hottest clubs of the year: Mizuno’s Pro M-15 irons. Right behind are the Mizuno Pro M-13s, followed by Titleist’s T-150 and T-250 irons. The best selling driver this month was Ping’s G440 K.
Mizuno
Ever since the Pro M-15 and Pro M-13 were released in January, the clubs have been selling like crazy. While each model offers something different (the Pro M-13 is designed for use by a variety of handicappers while the Pro M-15 is primarily for distance seekers), both models offer impressive launch, speed and spin.
“What the Mizuno Pro Modern series does well is tell golfers what it is,” said GOLF gear editor Jack Hirsh, who tested the clubs last year. “Now you have a split Mizuno Pro family, where one side is clean, classic, traditional, and the new M-Series has the same look and feel, but with more speed-enhancing technology – and it’s not shy about it.”
Mizuno Pro M-13 Custom Irons
Mizuno Pro M-13 and M-15, part of the new modern series. Sitting alongside the Signature Series (S-1 and S-3), the Modern Series represents a new evolution in forging performance. It is designed for players who want more speed, forgiveness, and playability, while maintaining the shape and distinct feel of the Mizuno Pro. The Modern Series starts with two different models, each designed for a specific type of ball striker. The M-13 features preferred travel ratings and a faster, more consistent flight profile, while the M-15 delivers a higher launch and more forgiveness that blends nicely into the set. Both retain the craftsmanship and heritage that defines every Mizuno Pro instrument.
