The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers get a lot of the original story about Rachel Zoedecision to leave his marriage Rodger Berman.
Rachel, 54, reflected on the final episode of her marriage during the Thursday, February 26, episode of the Bravo show. This incident was recorded one year to the day “his whole life opened up.” Rachel recounted the events of that day while at dinner with the cosars Kyle Richards again Dorit Kemsley.
“He was in Aspen and I wasn’t going to Aspen because I had to take care of something here. “Whatever happened, happened and I just fell apart. I just remember being on the ground and I remember crying more than before [have].”
Dorit, 49, did not hesitate to ask for clarification on what happened.
“We had a big fight and I just said, ‘I’m done, I’m done,'” continued Rachel. Kyle, 57, asked how Rachel found out “whatever” Rodger had done that “upset” her so much.
“You told me,” Rachel replied before explaining the situation further in her confessional.
Rachel said she had been out partying and “just got home from the night” when Rodger drove her.
“There was a phone call, to be honest, it’s like I just saw red and I just hung up,” he said. Rachel also explained to viewers that the past two years have been “very bad” for her and Rodger “fighting and making up” over and over again.
“Some things happen for reasons to force your hand and this time, that weekend, August 2 [and] 3, 2024, you just made it easier to walk,” he said in his confession.
“People have been asking me over the years what the secret of our success is,” he added. “The first response was always trust. It’s like, when that trust is broken, it’s like it’s broken. There’s no going back.”
Rachel told Dorit and Kyle that she “never” looked at Rodger’s phone. He obviously didn’t apologize or cry. Rachel guessed that Rodger told her what he had done to “hurt her”.
“My reaction is, I can’t come back, I can’t hear, I can’t see, I don’t know,” she said. “He was a safe guy until the bottom of the sixth [or] seven years and it just went down.”
In the early days of their relationship, Rachel said Rodger was “very safe” and “never” caught her.
Rachel said she “never cheated” on Rodger but did “cheat” on a model once before they got engaged. Rodger apparently proposed “the next day,” after Rachel told him what went down but he “didn’t give a ***” because he was “very safe.”

Rachel and Rodger were married for 24 years before announcing in September 2024 that they were separating. Rachel filed for divorce in July 2025. According to Daily Mailtheir separation date was listed as June 27, 2024. They share sons Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 12.
“Nothing about a person is the same as who they were. People are allowed to change,” Rachel continued. “You made it clear that you are very happy with who you are.”
He added, “I have to be thankful that it happened, no matter what. … Even if I’m going to spend another six years faithfully waiting for someone I knew to come back.”
Rodger has moved on with the stylist Bree JacobyHe started seeing her months after his breakup with Rachel. I RHOBH star played coy when asked about the timeline of Rodger and Bree’s relationship – which raised some eyebrows. (Rodger and Bree officially came out in September 2025.)
“I don’t know that I can really answer that,” he said People November 2025. “Listen, a timeline is a timeline. And again, everything I answer is through the lens of what my kids will see and hear. It is what it is. Whether they’re together or not now, I really don’t know. Life is wild, and I can say it takes a lot to really shock me.”
