The 20-year-old Olympic gold medalist had fans talking when she took a moment to polish her pout on Thursday, February 19.
She sported a quick swatch of Rare Beauty’s Tinted Lip Oil Stain in the shade Muted Berry before accepting her gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
“Alysa Liu goes ‘where’s my lipstick’ and pulls out some amazing lip balms. Iconic,” wrote one fan on social media, referring to Selena GomezA popular brand. “[Alysa Liu] she’ll take lipstick before she gets her gold medal she’s just a girl,” added another X user.

Liu got off to a good start at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina, Italy, winning her first gold medal in the team event alongside her. Amber Glenn, Ilia Malinin, Ellie Kam, Daniel O’Shea, Madison Chock again Evan Bates on February 8.
She proved her potential again when she won her second gold medal in the women’s free skate competition on February 19, defeating her rivals. Kaori Sakamoto again I’m Nakaiwho walked away with silver and bronze medals, respectively.
Liu was beaming with pride as she sported the long-wearing product which is described as creating a “comfortable, uplifting kiss of color and sparkle” for “bold, juicy” pop.
Before Liu’s big win, the US had not won the women’s figure skating title at the Olympics since 2002.

Liu has not only become a topic of conversation because of her accomplishments but also her sense of style.
“Every year, I add a streak,” Liu told NBC News about her signature hair, which features horizontal white and black horizontal sections, in January. “It will be like this for a year, and then – next winter, at the end of December – I will put on another ring.”
Liu revealed to the Paralympian Haven Shepherd that it took a process to achieve his eye-catching mane.
“To get this light, I had to go to the salon,” she explained during an interview that was posted on TikTok on February 10. “I couldn’t lift my hair like this. It was too high, it wasn’t good enough. So, I went to the salon and redid some of the lines to match.”

Liu recently discussed her frenulum piercing, which can be seen on her upper gums, which some viewers considered a gem.
“Someone called my style ‘something else’ and I would agree with that,” Liu told NBC affiliate TMJ4 News. “I really like fashion.”
Liu said he discovered the piercing two years ago. “I had my sister raise my lip,” she told the outlet, “and I was looking in the mirror, and I had my piercing needle and yes, I just put it in.”
