HIVE’s latest release by Bettinardi is for high-end drinkers

Bettinardi releases its third collaboration with Buffalo Trace Distillery products, based on a shared respect for American craftsmanship, patience in the process and attention to detail.

The third installment of the collaboration celebrates the heritage of WL Weller wheated bourbon. I personally don’t drink much, but when I do, it’s to have a nice bourbon or whiskey while hanging out with close friends. If we’re feeling really fancy, Weller is optional. I’m usually not offended by limited edition releases, but this one really pulled me in as a reminder of memories with close friends at campfires, and nights that lasted a long time but that I would never trade again.

It’s no secret that the people of Bettinardi go above and beyond to get their HIVE out, and this is no different. The idea for a release like this from Bettinardi is to draw parallels between the two participants. Weller uses wheat rather than rye as the flavoring grain, giving you a soft, smooth drinking profile similar to the one-piece milled philosophy at Bettinardi that creates a soft and smooth feel to the joint release.

I love that this release feels so simple. Bettinardi didn’t move forward with pictures or crazy work alone. It looks like an inspiring Queen Bee #6-esque design, with classic Weller branding in a very cool single mill pattern that uses the Weller ‘W’ as its pattern. Featuring a soft and subtle copper/gold finish with red accents that remind you of opening a brand new bottle of Weller to enjoy with friends.

Each putter features custom design elements influenced by WL Weller’s bourbon wheated heritage, with finishes and details intended to reflect the warmth, depth and character associated with the product. The versatility extends beyond putters with a full range of accessories, including a ball marker, divot tool and various covers.
