By his standards, Scottie Scheffler had a rough week at the WM Phoenix Open, a tournament he has won twice before. By anyone else’s standards, the World No. 1 had a good week.

Scheffler recovered from a poor opening round to finish T3 at TPC Scottsdale. But that was a step back from his 2026 debut, when he won the American Express.

Now Scheffler is on the Monterey Peninsula to try to accomplish something he’s never done before: win a tournament at Pebble Beach. But he’ll face stiff competition at this year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the PGA Tour’s first Signature Event of the season.
