Seven-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell was on hand at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara to support his fiancée as she sang the Black Panthers’ national anthem before the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots square off in the NFL championship game on February 8, 2026.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star has been one of Jones’ most vocal supporters since they started dating in 2023, and Jones made it clear in the days leading up to the Super Bowl that the opportunity will be a career highlight.
“This is the bee’s knees,” he said at a press conference Thursday before the game. “I think this is one of the most watched events ever. It’s hard to compete.
He added, jokingly, “Maybe my wedding will be up there.”

Donovan Mitchell played College Basketball at Louisville
Basketball fans first got to know Mitchell, known as “Spidah,” during his college days, playing for a Hall of Fame head coach. Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals.
