Prime Day Apple deals guide: What to buy, what to buy

Amazon Prime Day is live now until June 26, and this year’s sale is especially important for Apple users: Apple products are about to increase in price due to the global RAM shortage. With that in mind, the Mashable Shopping team monitored the best Prime Day Apple deals to flag any significant discounts on Apple Watches, AirPods, iPads, and MacBooks.

On the third day of Prime Day, there are a few notable Apple deals that are still going strong. This includes record low prices on AirPods Max 2, Apple Watch Series 11, and M4 iPad Air, each with up to $150 off.

Most other Apple products are anywhere from $9 to $100 away from their all-time lows. (We’re still hoping for more price cuts on AirPods and the latest M5 MacBooks, for example.) Amazon has been known to boost its Apple deals during Big Day, so it might be worth waiting another 24 hours to see if they’re even lower. Be aware that they can sell.

Over the next two days, we’ll continue to update this page with the best Prime Day Apple deals multiple times a day. Ideally, we also check prices at other major retailers like Best Buy and Walmart to make sure you’re getting the lowest prices available on all Apple products. If they can score deals on Amazon, we’ll take note of that and link you to the competition.

The best Prime Day AirPods deal

Apple’s stylish over-ear headphones were updated in April with the H2 chip, which brings better noise cancellation and support for software features like Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Live Translation. This Big Day, Amazon has them down to just $399 – a 27% savings and their lowest price ever (by far). This is a pretty good deal, considering that the original AirPods Max took several years to hit the same price. Only Walmart has been able to match it so far.

The best Apple Watch deal for Prime Day

Apple Watch Series 11 has a new record low price for Prime Day. Amazon has marked it down to just $279, which is 30% off its usual $399 MSRP. (It was $20 cheaper during Amazon’s Big Spring sale a few months ago.) Apple’s latest wearable supports features like hypertension alerts and Sleep Score. Compared to its predecessor, it has a less sensitive display and longer battery life. Choose from four different case and band combinations, including one with a new gray finish.

The best Prime Day iPad deal

The M4 iPad Air is our favorite Apple tablet for many people, especially artists and other creators, combining great design with laptop-level performance at a low price. Right now, it’s more reasonable than usual: The base 11-inch model with 128GB of storage has dropped to a record low of $519 for Prime Day, which is 13% off its regular sticker price. (Get an Apple Pencil or Magic Keyboard on sale while you’re at it, too.) If it’s on sale on Amazon, you can find the same deal at Best Buy.

The best Prime Day MacBook deal

If you need a new laptop that’s sleek, portable, and powerful, the MacBook Air is easy to recommend. Its slim all-aluminum design (available in four colors) features a haptic touchpad, a 12MP webcam, and a punchy Liquid Retina display. Its M5 chip makes it faster than most Windows laptops in almost any situation. The base 13-inch model normally costs $1,099, but Amazon has it down to $949 for Prime Day. It is now $50 away from its record low since Memorial Day. You’ll find a similar deal at Best Buy this week.

Great Prime Day AirTag deal

Here’s our first-ever discount on the second-generation AirTag, Apple’s recently updated Bluetooth tracker. It does not look different from the first version presented in 2021, but it has a loud speaker and a much wider range. Grab the $89 four-pack for the best price (regularly $99) – that works out to $22.25 per AirTag. If you only need one or two, you’ll pay $24 for them individually during Big Day (normally $29). Best Buy and Walmart both had the same deal, FYI.
