NASCAR is sending a big message to the losers who hate America, the controversial paint scheme of the black driver and drunk Jimmie!

Remember earlier this year, when Tyler Reddick was winning every race and Denny Hamlin seemed to be the second best driver on his team?

Yes, me too.

Good grace. That would be three (!!!) NASCAR wins in a row at Hamlin after yesterday’s fuel economy clinic at Pocono. And this is a guy who should retire after next season!

Yes, OK. Sure, Denny. We’ll see about that.

For those who keep track back home (none of you, because it’s June and standing doesn’t matter), Hamlin has now cut Reddick’s points lead to a measly 19. I believe that, at one point, that artist was almost 400. What a run Denny, who passed Kyle Busch on the all-time Cup Series wins list yesterday at Pocono. It’s sad.

We’ll talk more about Kyle later. You will never guess what fast food was served at his funeral a few weeks ago. It’s complete.

What else do you want to talk about today? Did anyone see how Sunday’s race started? Arguably the most American command you will ever see. 250 America hating libs SEE it today. God, I love this country.

BUBBA WALLACE ‘SEE RED’ AFTER SWIMMING, WOMAN DRIVER HARASSED AND CRYING & NASCAR MISSED MARK

I also found the controversial paint scheme down in the ARCA Series, Brad Keselowski competing with Bubba Wallace and Jimmie Johnson having a GREAT time overseas.

Wow. Wait till you hear the ‘ol talk seven times at Le Mans. I didn’t know Jimmie had it this to him. You will see.

OK, let’s get this show on the road.

Four tires, Sunoco racing fuel, and Jimmie’s aspirin … Monday Morning Pit-Stop — ‘Ben Franklin Gives The Command’ show — LIVE!

What a way to start the race!

Before we start this official water cooler talk, I want to quickly address student mail. We’re at the almost two-month mark of OutKick’s merger with Fox, and it’s been … bad … at times. Many of these things.

“Just one of the racin’ deals,” as they say.

From Sherri:

brother,

Let’s help middle-aged and old people and get out a little bit. Your story today was an awareness sequence with a bunch of screenshots. You post on Fox, not X, Instagram, Reddit etc. Please improve your writing style to get your Fox reading. Some of us prefer to stay away from X, Instagram and the like, so posting a bunch of screenshots with links to more news information on social media apps is useless.

Thanks, Sherri!

Although we have always been under one roof, these two sites are … different. That’s just the honest truth.

OutKick is a bit more loosey-goosey. Less (more) with more ideas. This column has been a culture shock to many people who have not been here in the last four years.

Monday Morning Pit-Stop is not your typical NASCAR affair. In fact, I like it that way. I want it like that. If you want a regular NASCAR recap from yesterday, you can get it from AP (yuck), or ESPN (double-yuck). That’s not what I do.

Here, I would like to talk about the rest things. Yes, we are still going to talk about the race, but also the things that happen behind the scenes.

The radio is blasting. Drama. Instagram of cows (and wives).

For example, I like to dive into things like Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross giving the order to start engines. While part of the country spent the weekend complaining about the America 250 and throwing the UFC on the White House lawn, NASCAR chose to lean on it.

And that’s a WIN in my book:

NASCAR’s ‘Juneteenth’ car sparks backlash

Yes, he said “Gentleman, start your engines,” not “Drivers.” That’s new. Well, an the old one one, but a new one for this new generation. Do with that knowledge what you will.

As for the event itself, it was simple – as Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross told 40 professional stock car drivers on fire engines for a 400-mile race would be – but they spoke volumes.

NASCAR, to me, depends back in its fan base right now. They have been there for about a year now. Ever since Trump came to last year’s Daytona 500, really. For those of you (us) living through NASCAR’s painful renaissance (2020-2023), it was a welcome return.

All I saw last weekend were b—— people whining about the America 250, and how divided we are, and how ashamed we should be right now.

Hogwash. Get out of here with that nonsense. This is America. We are the greatest country in the world, and we should be proud of it.

Rev those engines, Betsy Ross! Let’s go running.

NOW…

It wasn’t all meat and eggs this NASCAR weekend. It has never been like that. Down at the ARCA series, Dystany Spurlock revealed a new paint scheme that, um … turned some heads:

Brad, Kyle & Jimmie, oh my!

The shocking thing is that June’s scheme did NOT go over well with the fans. Let’s take a pulse-check in the comments section:

  • Yes promote racism every time you get nascar! Lots of cute clowns! This has no place in sports or entertainment!
  • This is the funniest thinking I’ve seen on the road. File this with a BLM vehicle.
  • Well, I don’t watch the Arca series anymore. Good luck with this stupidity.
  • Once again @NASCAR fails to read the room!
  • I can’t wait to see the 4th of July celebrating the 250th anniversary of this great nation! They will definitely do one!!
  • There is indeed a strong black fist on the side of the car.

I could go on and on. Seriously. There are about 400 comments below that post from Bob. The minute I saw my timeline, I knew it was going to be fired, and it is.

I usually don’t care for paint schemes in NASCAR, but this one caught my attention. NOTHING will beat the BLM car Bubba drove back in 2020.

What a time that was. It’s funny, especially looking back on it now.

Fittingly, Dystany finished last after crashing early in the race … on the same lap as Bobby Earnhardt.

That’s right.

Bobby Earnhardt — Dale’s grandson!

Amazing. Welcome to the show, Bobby!

OK, let’s get to the fast hitters on the way out. First? Let’s go back to Pocono and check out Brad Keselowski after he was caught in a crash and accused Bubba Wallace of some strange words to choose.

“That seemed to me [Bubba Wallace] a– — cultivated [Joey Logano] from behind, I smashed him at the last second in front of me. I removed the first wave of danger, but not the second wave.”

I think Brad probably wants that back. Just thinking. And I’m talking about both the sentences AND the case.

I like to blame Bubba as the next guy, but … that crash has nothing to do with Bubba. Fair is fair, and I must be fair here.

The next one? Let’s get to our weekly Kyle Busch review. This one is light hearted, by the way, so don’t worry. Nothing sad or scary to share this week.

A good, old-fashioned In-N-Out Burger:

“Somehow, he must have known how badly many of us wished we could have had one last Double-Double with him: Hundreds flew in to work for him. So I sat there, cried and had that last Double-Double with him.”

Apparently, Kyle Busch loved In-N-Out so much that hundreds of burgers came to his private party two weeks ago. It doesn’t get much better than that folks.

God, I love NASCAR. And I love this country. You don’t get this kind of behavior in Europe. There is no gun. Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross and In-N-Out.

America 250 indeed.

Finally, on the way out, here’s a radio interview from the Le Mans weekend where Jimmie Johnson not only attended, but, apparently, participated.

That sounds like a man who had a NIGHT. Jimmie is 50 years old, and he’s not slowing down.

“I told you Jimmie was fun,” Dale Jr. said. on Twitter.

I think so. Who knew? If you read more.

OK, that’s it for today. Good job, everyone. On the way out, here’s Denny Hamlin winning and getting thrown a banana during his post-race interview.

In America.
