Mariska Hargitay says the Knicks homecoming was the ‘best’ night of her life

Mariska Hargitay admitted that the Knicks’ dramatic victory in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday may have made her happier than her wedding night with husband Peter Hermann.
“I love my husband, and our wedding night was great and everything, but I think it might have been the greatest night of my life,” the “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” actress told The Hollywood Reporter after the Knicks’ 107-106 victory over the Spurs at Madison Square Garden.
Hargitay, 62, has been married to Hermann, 58, since 2004, and they have three children.
Hermann’s attorney could not be reached for comment Thursday evening.
The Knicks super fan, who was seen celebrating with Taylor Swift in a matching “Stevie Knicks” shirt following the historic win, recounted the nail biting in a statement posted to the store.
“The game was brutal, down 29 points at halftime, but I’m telling you, you watch this team fight and you look back — you see that in Jalen. [Brunson] eyes – there are endless life lessons there,” he wrote about the superhero game.
“And then OG [Anunoby] the plane comes in, his orange and green cape flutters behind him, and it’s just pandemonium.”
Hargitay emphasized that this moment “will be replayed over and over again, not just as a historic moment in basketball, but on the highlight reel of great moments in sports.”
He admitted, “And all I could think was ‘IT’S GOING ON!!!’ And ‘OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!’ And ‘OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS CITY!!!’”
Hargitay is the main court fan at Knicks games, where celebrities including Michael J. Fox, Ben Stiller, and Timothée Chalamet have been seen as the top 7 series between NBA teams.
While the big win seems to have caught the actor’s attention for now, he may have another big event to look forward to.
Hargitay, who is a longtime friend of “Life of a Showgirl” hitmaker Swift, 36, apparently has a dramatic break in her schedule ahead of Swift’s upcoming wedding to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
The actor is starring solo on Broadway in “Every Brilliant Thing,” with performances every Friday evening.
However, an eagle-eyed fan noticed and relayed to Page Six that her show was canceled on July 3 — the very day Page Six exclusively reported in April that Swift would marry Kelce, 36, in New York City.
Accordingly, Page Six later reported earlier this month that the couple would marry at Madison Square Garden, and that everyone — including Hargitay — was “sworn to secrecy” on the matter.
