Nina Dobrev “She’s off the market” following her breakup Shaun White — but her “new man” may surprise you.
Dobrev, 37, shared an exciting update on her relationship status via her Instagram Story on Thursday, February 5, joking that she may have found The One. At the pickup, the Vampire Diaries alum bent down and hugged a Doberman named Winston.
“The new man in my life,” she captioned the retweeted photo, originally shared by Tara Garlinghouse. “Officially not on the market. Sorry guys.” Garlinghouse previously wrote alongside the photo, “A love affair @nina & Winston.”
While kissing the pooch, Dobrev rocked a black, form-fitting top and headband.
Elsewhere on social media, he shared a video of himself playing tug-of-war with Winston.
Dobrev’s post comes after her September 2025 split from White, 39. At the time, Us Weekly reports that Dobrev is “heartbroken” about the breakup.

Dobrev and White sparked dating rumors in February 2020 when they were photographed together on a trip to South Africa. Us broke the news in April 2020 that the couple was officially dating.

Dobrev and White announced their engagement in October 2024. White tricked Dobrev into thinking she was going to a dinner hosted by Anna Wintour while actually putting a romantic room full of roses. He proposed with a pear-shaped diamond ring.
