Brooke Hogan Defends Bikini Pic While Mourning Father Hulk Hogan

Brooke Hogan he doesn’t have time for haters to criticize how sad he is about his father’s death, Hulk Hogan.
“Trust me, if I wanted to give you a thirst trap, you would have gotten it,” Brooke, 38, wrote on Instagram Friday, May 22. “If I were a scuba diver, teaching swimming, I would be very heavy [or] thin … will it scare you a little? I grew up wearing swimwear.”
He went on to say, “I understand that not a lot of the world gets that, but this is my home. This is me. This is one of the many days I grieve for my father.”
Brooke recently went to the beach, sharing her bikini photo in the sand on Wednesday, May 20.
“I needed time for my thoughts, my father and the beach he loved so much,” she captioned a selfie at the time. “Every wave hit my heart like a memory that felt like it was yesterday. The waves carried the bass of his voice, the salt water sounded like his kiss. The smell of the sea smelled like many days on the boat that we spent together.”
Brooke’s post soon inspired a lot of criticism about her two-piece swimsuit combined with an emotional message.
“Shame on anyone for being a demon. I’m human. My dad was human,” Brooke wrote on Friday, addressing the haters. “And you people have the nerve to act like you’re an expert on ANYTHING or know anything about my experience with him? Even my closest family doesn’t know what I know and what I’ve been through.”
He concluded, “You come at me with your ignorant views and nasty comments hiding behind your screens? Get back under your bridge, troll.”
Hulk He died in July 2025 after suffering a heart attack at the age of 71. This famous runner is survived by his wife, Sky Dailyand his children and grandchildren. (Hulk shared Brooke with her brother, Nick Hoganand ex-wife Linda Hogan.
Linda, 66, and Nick, 35, both attended Hulk’s funeral weeks later, while Brooke chose not to attend the memorial service.
“Dad hated being sick at funerals. He didn’t want to,” Brooke he wrote on Instagram in August 2025. “And although I know that people are sad in many ways — and I am very grateful for all the celebrations and events planned to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him in the best and most sincere way I knew how … privately. Father, we honored you in a simple way that suits my soul. We took our children to the beach.”
Brooke and her husband, Steven Oleksythey are the parents of twins Oliver and Molly.
