‘Dutton Ranch’ star loves to drive classic Bronco, ‘beat men’ in ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff

There’s a new girlfriend in town.
Natalie Alyn Lind stars as Oreana Jackson on “Dutton Ranch” — and gave Page Six the lowdown on making a “Yellowstone” spinoff.
The actress, 26, exclusively told us how much she loves “driving a vintage Bronco” while filming the show.
“And,” he laughed, “beating men.”
His cheeky comment refers to the May 15 episode premiere, where Carter, played by Finn Little, goes to the rodeo and finds Oreana fighting with her boyfriend.
Citing Oreana as a “very strong” character, Lind blurted out that she is “attacking[s] every scene he gets into.”
The former “Big Sky” alum added, “Whatever he did, I was happy to do.”
In the show, Carter runs into Oreana shortly after moving to Texas with her adoptive parents, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser).
“Dutton Ranch” follows the cast after the death of Beth’s father, John Dutton (Kevin Costner), in “Yellowstone.”
For Carter, the family move means dropping out of high school at age 19 — and being picked up by the local sheriff when he protects Orena from her partner.
When Lind’s character walks out on Carter, she convinces him to cut class and get a drink with her, telling her that he’s “beautiful” and “mysterious.”
The second episode of “Dutton Ranch,” however, introduces Oreana as the granddaughter of Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening), Rip and Beth’s neighbor — and possible new enemy.
Beth, notably, refers to the tough Texas matriarch as “a grizzly in Gucci,” and two female heads.
Lind told Page Six that working with Bening, 67, was a “great experience”.
He called the Oscar winner “one of the [her] his favorite people ever,” he said, “Being able to be in the scenes with him and see the way he draws his character is great. I feel very blessed.”
Series executive producer and director Christina Alexandra Voros previously told Page Six Beth may be “dangerous” on the new show than “Yellowstone.”
The producer noted that Beth and Rip “fought so hard to try and have peace at last – and no matter how badly they want it, war keeps coming to their door.”
New episodes of “Dutton Ranch” premiere on Paramount+ and Paramount Network Fridays at 8 pm ET.
