Brigitte Macron hit the husband of the French prez for a hot message to an Iranian actor: report

Slap-re bleu!

French President Emmanuel Macron was slapped by his wife on a trip abroad last year after receiving a steamy message from a young actress on his phone, according to a new book.

Brigitte Macron’s viral attack on her husband – which was caught on camera – was a hot text message allegedly sent between her former student, 48, and Golshifteh Farahani, 42, a journalist, journalist Florian Tardif said in an interview with RTL France.

“I find you very beautiful,” President Macron told Farahani, in one of the messages, according to Tardif, whose book, “An (Almost) Perfect Couple,” was published on Wednesday.

Farahani, a known critic of the regime in Tehran, allegedly maintained a “platonic relationship” with Macron for several months, Le Parisien reported.

“[This] it led to a misunderstanding between the couple, which led to this private scene becoming public,” explained Tardif, a Paris Match reporter, talking about the tragic incident in May of last year when the couple was preparing to get off their plane in Hanoi, Vietnam.

A few minutes before being slapped, Brigitte, 73, read a message from Farahani on her husband’s phone, reported Le Parisien.

“What Brigitte felt that hurt was not the content of the message as much as what it suggested: something that could happen … nothing tangible or critical but the idea alone … was enough,” reads an excerpt from the book, in the Paris Match series.

“He [Brigitte] he saw himself being erased,” Tardif quoted a friend of the President of the country as saying.

On Wednesday, representatives of the French First Lady denied that the slap had anything to do with Farahani, insisting that she would not look at her husband’s phone again.

“Brigitte Macron directly denied this account to the author on March 5, clarifying that she never looks at her husband’s mobile phone,” a representative told Le Parisien.

Farahani has long denied the rumors that there is a relationship with President Macron, which has been floating since last year.

“I think that love is lacking in some people, so they have to make love like this in order to be fulfilled [the void],” he told Le Point in March.

Meanwhile, Macron’s team quickly engaged in damage control, initially saying the video might have been AI-generated before insisting it was a prank call.

“It was a time when the president and his wife were making a final farewell before the start of the trip jokingly,” said someone close to the President at the time.

“He likes to make jokes about his wife before these times when they start their official marriage. And he always does,” they added.

President Macron also asserted that the couple were “joking” at the time, urging people to “calm down.”

The Elysee Palace did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
