Taylor Frankie Paul Shares a Serious Mother’s Day Post

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul sends a direct message on Mother’s Day.
“It’s Mother’s Day so I’m going to say whatever I want,” Paul, 31, began in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday, May 10. “As if it’s not a bad time. [sic] STILL the ‘friends’ who are kicking me while I’m still on the ground call me ‘setting a boundary’ and I’m not getting angry and responding. That is called a shame and an attack while I was still breathing and he knew it.”
Alongside the message, Taylor shared a series of photos with her children over the years. (Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Father Paul and is mother to son Ever, 2, with ex Dakota Mortensen. Taylor temporarily lost custody of Ever after a domestic violence incident between the two, but was awarded 12 hours of Mother’s Day visitation. Local police declined to press charges.)
“I have never once [I] “I call myself a ‘victim’ but I AM HUMAN and I have broken points,” Taylor wrote on Sunday.
The statement comes after one day Mormon wives the costar Mikayla Matthews shared that she “tried to stay as removed as possible” from Taylor during the legal drama. Taylor, meanwhile, responded in the comments section of Matthew’s fan message and said that her friend is “waiting for my downfall.” Matthews denied this in separate comments.
Taylor did not name Matthews in a statement Sunday, in which he referred to his 2023 arrest on charges of aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence involving a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief. (Taylor eventually pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, and the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice. He later reached a plea deal.)
“Did you see the crime? Did you see the bruises?” Taylor continued on Sunday. “But you grow the ‘sides?’ Of course you usually do it for friends you know are going through that. Have you been injured during pregnancy? Have you ever been hit after giving birth? You lost two children because you know what? Have you ever gone to jail for breaking and taking only one offense for years? Have you ever had trouble getting ready to feel good two months after giving birth that you cry about grooming and then go back to the ugly shirt? Do you understand what I am saying just mentally?”
He continued, “No, obviously not. [I’m] take it down and shut it down with a ‘boundary’ months later after the fact… you’re right to say his ‘boundary’ for sure… but go ahead and tell them the truth.”
Without naming Matthews, Taylor then asked who his “last conversation” was “regarding this situation” and noted that “it wasn’t me.” Taylor also appeared to refer to the “concerns” arising from her recording Mormon wives season 5, which halted production amid allegations of his feud with Mortensen. Us Weekly confirmed last month that filming has resumed, but Taylor has yet to appear on camera.
“What other questions did you have about your concerns while you were filming with me… ‘Are you making more than us? Keep up the ‘babysitting act,'” Taylor wrote. “Everybody knows I’m good with my kids. I’ve missed more events, girls’ nights and opportunities to stay home with my kids than others can say.”
She concluded by saying, “Happy mother to all the mothers out there💕 Yes, I’m blowing… people calling me but I can’t answer? I will definitely NOT tolerate that again. Thank GOD for the people you sent to help me face my enemies so close.”
In the comments section, Mormon wives the costar Jesse Draper share a message of support.
“You know how much I love you,” he wrote. “Not many have seen what happened behind the scenes but I have seen and understand it personally. I am very sorry and you will come back stronger and happier than before ❤️.”
In a separate statement on Sunday, Taylor wrote on her Instagram Story, “I will not sit down, be quiet or walk out… I’ve done that for years on this one. Trust me I can’t be blown away or scrutinized physically, emotionally, or publicly. Anyone else want to talk? Please do…”
