Kris Jenner finally confirms she tried Ozempic after speculation: ‘It made me really sick’
Keeping up with Kris Jenner’s weight loss.
The reality star confirmed to listeners of the “She MD” podcast on Tuesday that she also tried Ozempic before it became a fad.
“We tried it once when nobody knew what it was,” the 70-year-old admitted – without specifying when this happened or what he meant by “we.”
Jenner noted that semaglutide made her “really sick” and “nauseous,” so she pursued “different options.”
A talent manager, who “loves[s] to take care of [her]self,” explaining that he has turned to peptide injections and supplements.
They gave him “more energy” and “a few more hours every day,” he said.
About her “game-changing” health tip, Jenner said, “I get my blood drawn every three months to keep my hormones balanced because I realized after I turned 45 that it was important to your life as a woman.”
He explained, “When you look at your thyroid, you look at your hormone health and you look at what your body needs.”
The interview marked the first time Jenner, who also discussed her facelift on the podcast, used Ozempic since the summer of 2023 sparked speculation.
At the time, the matriarch posted vacation photos on Instagram and was dubbed the “Ozempic baddie.”
Earlier that year, Khloé Kardashian railed against an interview from “bad people” that he he was taking weight loss medicine.
“Let’s not disrespect my years of work,” the Good American founder wrote in January 2023. “I wake up five days a week at 6 a.m. to train. Please stop with your thoughts.”
The following year, Kardashian clarified that she does not judge those on Ozempic.
“Who cares?” he asked in a December 2024 interview with Bustle. “As long as people feel good about themselves.”

He broke his silence in the February 2025 article, telling Kardashian, “I’m not ashamed that I took it! Everyone who has a problem with Mounjaro can suck my d–k.”
Kardashian responded, “When I was fat, I’d drink that s–t. I’m not ashamed of it. … When I was fat, I’d take laxatives. I’d take whatever anybody pushed.”
