West Wilson gives rare insight into ‘dark’ ‘Summer House’ after viral leak

West Wilson has opened up for the first time about the “dark” “Summer House” reunion.
The reality star admitted on Tuesday’s “Show Me Something” podcast episode that those chairs were never “fun,” calling it “a very dark form of therapy.”
He commented, “You don’t often get a lot of feedback on how your actions affect other people. There’s a shock to your system about it. But the only thing I can do this time is learn and try to get better.”
Admitting that he sounded “unique,” Wilson added, “The only way you can make an experience like this worth it, even if it’s dark, is to get better at it. …Grow up. It’s going to take a second, but we’ll get there.”
The 31-year-old described a “long day” filming the reunion – which focused on his romance with co-star Amanda Batula – on April 23.
“This one was a little less fun than usual,” Bravolebrity commented. “The most important thing to me is that these are my friends and I’ve caused a lot of damage, which is not f–king nice.”
His relationship with Batula, in particular, rocked the cast as Batula, 34, was Wilson’s girlfriend Ciara Miller’s BFF.
Wilson expressed relief at being “on the other side” of reuniting with Miller, 30, Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, and other colleagues.
“It will take time for sure and time helps,” he said. “Making the reunion was one step, and we went through it. … We have to take it one day at a time.”
Wilson also denied “absurd” rumors that he was behind the leaked audio of the reunion virus.
In a clip that went viral on social media the day after filming, Miller is heard blasting Batula as a “king snake.”
Additionally, Mia Calabrese said, “You’re married [to Cooke] – and I’m not saying that your relationship was good – being one of the Westerners. “
When Batula insisted that “you can’t help the one you love and the one you are attracted to,” Miller, who dated Wilson in 2023 and is said to have dated him earlier this year, strongly disagreed.
Andy Cohen, who hosted the meeting, called the leak “disgusting” — and celebrated later that week when someone was identified, thanks to the help of a Bravo fan.
On Tuesday, Wilson said, “I’m going to ask [who it was] in the end, but it can be – I’m sure – people [who] such as, they are independent to help with sound and so on.
