Kim Zolciak Clarifies The Problems Of Kroy Biermann’s Prisoner War

Kim Zolciak has clarified the role counseling played in her custody battle with ex Kroy Biermann.
Posting a lengthy statement on her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 3, Zolciak emphasized that she “has not lost custody of my children, and there has never been a change in the child custody arrangement.”
“I signed a temporary custody order at the end of January. The order clearly states that both mother and father must participate in counseling sessions twice a month for two months, followed by one session a month after that. I was out of the country from February 26 to March 28 due to filming commitments for two different productions,” he wrote.
He added, “At that time, I didn’t have a single day off, which made it difficult to attend counseling sessions. Kroy as of today (I was with KJ and Kash until 5pm today) is currently on spring break with the kids, which is his designated parenting time under the existing agreement.”
Zolciak concluded, “For the avoidance of any doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, and there has never been a change in the custody arrangement other than an agreed upon interim order.”

Kim Zolciak she will not be allowed to see the children she shares with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann until he finishes the treatment.
According to court documents obtained by Us WeeklyA Georgia judge approved a temporary parenting arrangement in which KJ, 14, Kash, 13, and 12-year-old twins Kaia and Kane will remain in Biermann’s physical custody from the time they are released from school on Friday, April 3, “until [Zolciak] you complete four sessions of parenting therapy…. But not before April 13.”
The judge ruled that if Zolciak, 47, completes his four terms as required, the parties “will resume working under the existing court-ordered parenting plan, which remains in effect until agreed upon and/or modified by this court.” (TMZ he was the first to report the news.)
Court documents revealed that during the week of March 30, KJ and Kash were in Zolciak’s custody, while Kaia and Kane were in Biermann’s custody. (Us (reached out to Biermann and Zolciak’s teams for comment.)
Zolciak is also a mother to Brielle Biermann,29, and Ariana Biermann24, from the previous relationship. They are not affected by the court’s decision.
The ruling comes shortly after Kroy, 40, asked a Georgia state judge to change quickly the couple’s current joint custody arrangement.
According to court documents obtained by Usthe former football player is seeking first custody of his four children and Zolciak’s. Kroy said in his filing that Zolciak had shown a “mismanagement of basic parental responsibilities. [that] it will not be believed by anyone who does not know the circumstances.”

“These allegations are false and nothing more than Kroy’s attempts to discredit me,” he said. “I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are taken care of – something I will never apologize for. I refuse to be bullied or lied about who I am. I will not be silent; the truth is with me, and it will come out – no matter how hard anyone tries to bury it.”
The first one the couple separated in the summer of 2023 after 11 years of marriage and are in the midst of an acrimonious divorce.
Before breaking up, the couple wrote about their love story The Real Housewives of Atlanta and a spinoff show titled Don’t be Tardy.
“I don’t know if it will ever end, I wish it would end tomorrow,” Zolciak said you are only told Us while we are there BravoCon in November 2025 regarding his ongoing divorce. “It’s just hard. I’ve never been able to get used to my ex and things like that. … I want to be able to give birth and do what’s best for our children.”
