INTERMEDIATE: Noel Fisher (Shameless, Castle Rock) and Devin Sampson-Craig (Res Football) have joined the recurring cast of AMC’s Dark Winds for Season 5, currently in production in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
As the show airs its fourth season on Sunday nights at 9 pm ET/PT, there is no official description of Season 5. The show received an early renewal for Season 5 before the start of its current season.
Fisher will feature the recurring role of Michael Jorie, a dangerous killer with a twisted sense of righteousness and devotion to his beliefs that fuel his involvement in a southwestern gang with a long history of violence.

Based on the Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman, Dark Spirits set in 1971 in the remote Navajo Nation near Monument Valley and follows Lt. Joe Leaphorn (McClarnon) of the National Police as a series of seemingly unrelated cases surround him. The closer he digs into the truth, the more he uncovers the wounds of his past.
On this trip he is joined by his new deputy, Jim Chee (Gordon). Chee has some old scores to settle from his youth on the reservation. Together, these two men fight the forces of evil, each other, and their demons on the way to salvation.
Season 4 focuses on the search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee, and Manuelito (Jessica Matten) from the safety of the Navajo Nation to the wilds of 1970s Los Angeles in a race to save her from a persistent killer with ties to organized crime.
The Season 4 cast includes Franka Potente as Irene Vaggan; Isabel DeRoy-Olson as Billie Tsosie, a determined and intelligent Navajo teenager who wants nothing more than the freedom to socialize with her people outside of her boarding school but finds herself in over her head with only her cunning and tenacity keeping her alive; Chaske Spencer as Sonny, a Los Angeles crime ring hire who with his good looks and dangerousness lures young Native Americans who have recently moved to the city from their reservations into a life of crime; Luke Barnett as FBI Special Agent Toby Shaw who comes looking for answers to a mystery involving one of his friends, and Titus Welliver as Dominic McNair, a ruthless crime boss who imports and exports drugs and stolen luxury goods in and out of Los Angeles.
