American Idol the host Ryan Seacrest viewers were shocked during the first live show when he delayed the announcement of the Top 12 contestants of season 24.
The ABC reality show looked set to reveal which of the 14 hopefuls will make it through the “Night of Faith Song” during the Monday, March 30, episode when Ryan, 51, confirmed there would be a delay due to an “unprecedented” 10 million votes. Citing ongoing voting tables, Ryan explained that the Top 12 will now be revealed at the top of next week’s live show instead.
