Cam Newton’s Iconic Saga joins the Offscript Worldwide creator network

Since breaking into the national team, former NFL MVP Cam Newton has been unapologetically true to himself.

Whether he’s on the field, or now off in his new world of content creation, Newton’s fans and fans have been drawn to the real him, a flawless filter that captures his hit shows “Funky Friday” and “4th & 1 with Cam Newton.” Now, with a new, important partnership with Offscript Worldwide, Newton’s reach to the masses will be even greater.

Iconic Sage Productions, the independent production powerhouse founded by Newton, has joined Offscript, a creator-owned ecosystem that brings together culture-shaping brands and platforms under one roof, including REVOLT, REVOLT Sports and 3BlackDot, among others. A major expansion was announced at the 2026 IAB NewFronts, as Offscript, representing over 130 creators and producing over 150 creator-led series reaching over 250 million subscribers on YouTube alone.

As part of the expansion, Newton’s Iconic Saga will also integrate with Offscript’s creator-led ecosystem, which will ultimately expand the reach of Newton’s signature storytelling.

“If you really think about Offscript, it’s like an ecosystem that encompasses many different aspects of our lives, from sports, to culture, to lifestyle and many different things,” Newton explained to Fox Business. “That change for me wasn’t sudden. Instead of training to be the best soccer player, or the best athlete. Now, I’m training to be the best content creator I can be.

“I’ve always wanted to be someone’s beacon, in many ways, I thought I was going. I’m very happy that Offscript is giving me and Iconic Saga the opportunity to continue to believe in our vision, and we can’t do these things without great partners like this.”

Content creation is often viewed as an independent art, but Newton knows that’s not the case, especially now with Offscript.

“It’s like when I was playing football,” he said. “Even though I might make a play, and they used to use the metaphor, ‘Oh my God, you made an incredible play, that’s all.’ Well, you still had offensive lineman, you had receivers blocking, you had coaches calling the game, you had general managers scouting the team.

“For us, that’s the same thing. We want to play to our strengths and partner to our weaknesses. That’s what Offscript gives us the opportunity to do – partner with their ecosystem to simplify business as we know it.”

The content creation game is also about being authentic with your audience, which Newton said is “not a new thing” coming from him. But he’s also aware of how today’s consumers can “spot the BS,” as he puts it.

As the Iconic Saga preaches authenticity, so does the Offscript, which Newton draws on for this relationship. It also helps that Offscript can bridge the gap with global brands to partner with Newton content in the future as well.

“These complementary brands, you can also sell visuals to people who are looking at your site to see it,” Newton said. “…The real game changer, so to speak, is when brands align with your message. Brands align with your audience. Brands align with your true value to capture people’s attention. That’s where we are with Iconic Saga, it’s not like ‘Funky Friday’ or ‘4th & 1.’

As this partnership begins, that message continues on tour, with the “4th & 1st College Tailgate Tour.” Iconic Saga hosts the show, which means Newton will be in full control of the narrative, meaning his unfiltered, authentic connection directly with the HBCU community.

“4th & 1” will travel to America’s HBCU campuses, where a live recording of the show will allow fans to experience, what Newton calls, “from the set to the backyard.” Whether at home or in person, the visit, scheduled to begin in Fall 2026, will shine a spotlight on the student-athletes, academic programs, and unique game day culture that defines the HBCU.

This and much more is expected as Newton, Iconic Saga and Offscript begin a partnership aimed at continuing to influence the intersection of sports, culture, and lifestyle.

“We’ve always been interested outside of the game,” Newton said. “Now, I can devote my time, energy and effort 100% to not only creating, but also aligning with amazing partners like Offscript, and strengthening my staff within Iconic Saga to find not just any person, but the right person who can grow the brand so they can get more out of ‘Funky Friday’ and ‘4th’.”
