Disco Elysium, Absolum and Other Indie Darlings Go to Xbox Game Pass

March is almost over, too Xbox Game Pass you go indie. Disco Elysium, Absolum and other indie game favorites are headed to the subscription service to close out the month and start in April. This collection of titles covers a variety of genres, and there are a few popular games thrown into the mix.

Game Pass offers hundreds of games to play on your device Xbox Series X, Xbox Series SXbox One, Amazon Fire TV, smart TVPC or mobile device, with prices starting there $10 per month. While all Game Pass tiers offer you a library of games, Game Pass Ultimate ($30 per month) gives you access to many games, as well as day 1 games, meaning they hit Game Pass the day they go on sale.

Disco Elysium — The Final Cut

Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Disco Elysium – Final Cut is a narrative-driven role-playing game where you are a troubled detective investigating a murder in an elaborate city. Its deep skills system shapes conversation, choices and outcomes, focusing on decision-making rather than combat. Meet unforgettable characters, unlock secrets and influence the environment as your personality grows. The game combines storytelling and player choice, allowing you to be a sharp detective or a complete mess.


Like a Dragon: Endless Treasures

Available on March 24 for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Bringing together Japan and Hawaii, Like a Dragon: Endless Treasures brings together Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu in a story driven by fate and the deepest forces at play. The game features unique turn-based combat that includes the environment, turning everyday objects into weapons. Beyond its main story, players can engage in a variety of side missions and character interactions, mixed comedy, drama and high action in a large, living world.


Absolum

Available March 25 for Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Premium Game Pass subscribers.

In the fantasy world of Talamh, Absolum casts players as rebel heroes fighting to overthrow the Sun King Azra’s empire. The game focuses on side-scrolling combat that channels classic arcade gameplay, enhanced by roguelite mechanics that change each run with new characters, upgrades, and modes. Players battle through waves of enemies using a combination of melee attacks, skills and movement-based tactics, each attempt offering different challenges and rewards. Its hand-crafted world and replayable structure combine fast-paced action with a modern progression system.


The Long Darkness

Available March 30 for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.

The Long Dark is a survival experience in the snowy wilderness after a geomagnetic disaster. Playing solo, you have to manage resources, endure bad weather and navigate natural hazards without outside help. The game strips away traditional enemies to focus on exploration and reality, leaving only you, the cold, and the place to conquer.

Resident Evil 7 has been called the game that revived the franchise. Featuring a new hero and horror focus, the seventh main game in the survival horror series has undergone major changes to become one of the best yet.


Barbie Horse Trails

Available April 2 to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Barbie Horse Trails is an open-world adventure game where players explore beautiful landscapes on horseback while completing quests and caring for their horse. Focused on exploration and simple gameplay, it combines riding challenges with simple tasks such as grooming and partnering with your horse. Set in forests, beaches and country roads, the game emphasizes a leisurely pace and accessible mechanics aimed at a younger audience.


Final dream 4

Available April 7 to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Microsoft continues to bring back classic Final Fantasy games to Xbox Game Pass. Final Fantasy 4, originally released on the SNES as Final Fantasy 2, marked a major shift in RPGs. The game’s story of finding redemption for the Dark Knight after a life of evil deeds takes players through many emotions that only a series like Final Fantasy can do.


Games leaving Game Pass in March

In March, Microsoft is removing only two games. If you’re still playing them, now is a good time to finish what you can before they’re gone for good on March 31st.
