Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miss Neeley gave his side of the story about Chase McWhorterthe claim that you sent her “flirty” messages in the past.
During season 4, which premiered on Thursday, March 12, Mayci and Chase offered different opinions on past text exchanges. Chase said he heard that Mayci was accusing him of accessing his DMs even though they are both married. He showed a glimpse of the exchange where Mayci appeared to touch him first.
Mayci, on the other hand, shared a statement admitting that she responded to the photo that does not have Chase in it. From there, Mayci tried to see if Chase wanted to be friends with her husband, Jacob Neeleyand there were even plans for a party on hold until Chase rescinded the offer – and Mayci thought it was because she and Jacob were schwibis.
“As far as texting, I didn’t know they were surfers, so I thought, ‘Oh, that would be a fun friend for my husband.’ Because we had two days before all this,” said Mayci Us Weekly. “But I will say that what confused me is that my husband thought she was having an affair [via] I’m texting and I’m like, ‘No!’”
Mayci blamed a miscommunication that led to “confusing” accounts of love affairs.
“There’s a cut scene where Chase pretends I’m hitting him. So I’m like, ‘First of all, you’re far from my type. It’s not even funny. I wouldn’t even touch you with a 10-foot pole,'” she joked about the moment that went viral. “But then again, it bothered me a little looking back.”
He continued: “I don’t know how people will take that thing because I see people saying, ‘Oh, he was playing with her.’
Mayci also recalled reading all the texts between her and Chase to the producers, saying, “But I think they showed a little bit. It wasn’t played at all and I don’t think he was flirting. I think the fact that we found out he was a skater later, we were like, ‘Why did he invite us to the cabin party?'”
Chase, who is now divorced from Miranda, has been named as a part Taylor Frankie Paul‘s soft-swinging scandal. Although the drama took place almost five years ago, Mayci was surprised that it was brought up again in the 4th season.
“I heard things that I can’t even say about this, but Taylor’s ex-husband [Tate Paul] Chase said [things] About me. But again, we can leave it at that and give me the benefit of the doubt. We are past this,” he told us. “This is also strange four years ago. The fact that it is coming out now, this is something that will make him worthy. “
