The New Mother star Jenelle Evans he shouts at his family members after reports of his son Jace allegedly pulling a gun on his grandmother Barbara Evans.
“Whoever thought the enemy was my mom, sad AF,” Jenelle, 34, shared on X on Tuesday, March 10. “And to think of the compassion I had for her all these months because of her life.”
Jenelle continued her messages on social media by pointing out her sister, Ashleigh Evans.
“Another bad guy who doesn’t have the right to take care of his son,” said Jenelle. “Take what he says with a grain of salt. Kthx, bye.”
He concluded by saying, “Imagine you are a toxic person, I cut you off to protect myself and my children, then all hell breaks loose.”
TMZ reported Tuesday that Jenelle’s son, 16, was placed in a mental institution after allegedly pulling a gun on Barbara late last month. The source says that the incident happened when Jace consumed drugs and alcohol. (In a second report published Wednesday, March 11, TMZ said Jenelle was preparing to visit her son.)
“At this time, we respectfully request the privacy of the family and Jenelle Evans,” said a spokesperson for the MTV star. Page Six on tuesday. “This is a personal matter, and space and understanding are appreciated as they focus on their well-being and time together. Thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.”
TMZ reported Tuesday that police responded to Barbara’s home in North Carolina, where Jace lived. Us Weekly has reached out to Jenelle’s legal team for comment.
Janelle’s sister, Ashleigh, spoke about the alleged incident involving Jace on social media on Tuesday.
“My nephew did not pull out the gun [his] grandmother or him. That’s a lie,” he wrote about X. “There’s nothing to that [is] the truth… who[ever] the person who keeps telling this lie is a sick person.”
He went on to say, “The police never found a gun in my mother’s house either, that is a blatant lie.” [It’s] It’s probably my sister who sells the story because she’s angry. You can’t control yourself.”
Jenelle shared Jace with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis. She is also mother to son Kaiser Orion, 11, with whom she lives with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffithand daughter Ensley Jolie, 9, with her estranged husband David Eason.
