Instead of letting these movies go unnoticed, Watch Us puts the spotlight on three great Netflix movies with bad Rotten Tomatoes scores.
Our picks this month include an upcoming teen drama, a romantic drama and a thriller flick.
‘Flipped’ (2010)

Turned around a film from a late director Rob Reiner which was widely criticized upon its release in 2010. Over the years, this change of Wendelin Van DraanenThe novel has become a cult classic. Madeline Carroll stars as Julianna “Juli” Baker, a teenager infatuated with her neighbor, Bryce Loski (Callan McAuliffe).
Rather than return Juli’s feelings immediately, Bryce spends years running away from them. It was when they were both in high school that Bryce began to rekindle the attraction Juli had for him. By that time, it may have been too late as he strengthened his heart. Now, Bryce must find out who he really wants to be and who he wants to be with.

‘The Mirror Has Two Faces’ (1996)

Barbra Streisand directed and starred The Mirror Has Two Faces as Rose Morgan, a professor at Columbia University who has never had a satisfying romantic relationship with a man. Similarly, Rose’s colleague, Gregory Larkin (Jeff Bridges), abandoned by her lover and forced to question her ability to communicate with the opposite sex.
The modern comedies that hit Netflix in January aren’t very impressive and don’t deserve a place among the best. ‘The Straight Edge’ (2000)

Direct Limit is a survival thriller that takes place on K2, the second highest mountain in the world. It could also be the unknown planet of Peter’s estranged siblings (Chris O’Donnell) and Annie Garrett (Robin Tunney). Both are experienced riders, but there is a deep emotional gap between them following a traumatic event years ago.
When an accident threatens the lives of Annie and her hiking buddies, Elliot Vaughn (Bill Paxton) and Tom McLaren (Nicholas Lea), Peter leaves his assigned job. He soon threw a rescue party with Monique Aubertine (Isabella Scorupco) and Montgomery Wick (Scott Glenn), despite recent incentives to join. Meanwhile, Annie’s life may be in more danger from one of her friends, who is determined to live no matter who she has to kill.
