Details About Shooting at Rihanna’s Los Angeles Home

Police received a call about shots fired near a Beverly Hills home, police spokesman Charles Miller said Monday. Miller did not say who lives in the home. Many local media reported that it belonged to Rihanna. Public records show the property in the Beverly Hills neighborhood is owned by a trust owned by Evan Jehle. Jehle is an advisory board member of Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation.

A 35-year-old woman was remanded in custody “without further incident” after the incident. Also, police found a weapon, according to a statement from law enforcement. Entertainment reporter Loren Lorosa identified the suspect as Ivana Lisette Ortiz on Monday on Twitter. Police booked Ortiz on a charge of attempted murder. The suspect, 35, born June 2, 1990, is in jail on $10,255,000 bail. Meanwhile, the district attorney has not yet announced charges.

No one was injured in the Sunday afternoon shooting, police said. The Associated Press reports that it was unclear whether the pop star was at home when he was shot. However, TMZ cited legal sources as saying Rihanna is at home. As for A$AP Rocky and their three children, Riot, RZA, and Rocki, their location during the shooting is unclear.

KABC-TV showed video of what appeared to be five bullet holes in the home’s front gate. The gunfire came from across the street, police said.

“There was just a shooting. Ten shots went off in the car,” a police dispatcher told police about the sound received by KABC.

Ivana Lisette Ortiz’s Disturbing Social Media Posts Resurface

It was not known that Ivana Lisette Ortiz had a relationship with Rihanna. As mentioned, fans are already holding threatening and abusive posts from Ortiz against the singer.

In another post on February 23, Ivana wrote: “@badgirlriri Are you there? The reason I was waiting for your five-headed AIDS to say something directly to me instead of sneaking around like you’re talking to me when I’m not there.”

In another post dated December 20, 2025, Ortiz tagged the request “post this everywhere,” adding, “DONE.” Ivana’s own post called Kim Kardashian a “stupid b*tch” after she “restricted” him. He added, “I’m already into Rihanna. It’s your turn to hide b*tch. Stop asking to look.”

In 2018, a man was accused of breaking into Rihanna’s separate home in the Hollywood Hills. He is said to have spent 12 hours there. The suspect pleaded no contest to the charges of stalking and destruction of property and the charge of not being arrested in 2019.
